ABOUT
Meet the brains behind Wordscaping LLC

Amy’s main passion in life has always been writing. However, she also enjoys the editing process. In fact, she spent so many hours editing for others on the side of her own projects that she decided to start Wordscaping LLC to do the task for those who find the task tedious, or honestly don’t have the time. As a work-at-home mother of two, Amy has more than enough time to stare at a manuscript word by word, comma by missing comma. Amy is now a CPD certified proofreader and copyeditor. She is a member of the American Writers & Artists Institute (AWAI) as well as the Professional Writers Alliance (PWA).
Amy started her writing education young by signing up for courses online through Institute of Writers before she had even graduated from high school. She continued by taking the courses available through The Institute of Children’s Literature. Those classes taught her many forms of writing styles and how editing and publishing in those styles differed. Continuing into college, Amy majored in English and Art, loving the creative processes. This time helped her become very skilled at writing essays and book reports. Other students would come to Amy for help editing their essays to ensure a higher grade.
Amy has also been approached to help with full-length novels. She did developmental editing on several books now sold on Amazon.
To stay current on her career choice, Amy took the initiative to attend a copywriting bootcamp through AWAI. That experience led her to many valuable contacts. After taking additional copyediting and proofreading courses focusing on the business side of the career, Amy founded Wordscaping LLC.

I have obtained wonderful developmental editing from Amy. She provided me with insightful comments, character tweaks, storyline corrections, and tone consistencies for many of my stories. Amy has an eye for detail and offers suggestions in a clear, concise way. She has also provided me with obvious grammar corrections and encouragement which has improved my skill as a writer. I would use her again!

Amy has helped me edit, review, and fact-check my essays and reports all throughout college. Her advice on how to reorganize and fix mistakes was an invaluable resource. I always ended up with better grades because of it. I highly recommend her services.

Amy is a very skilled and talented editor. I have asked for her help on multiple occasions with important emails. The emails were about difficult and sensitive topics. I thought I was a good writer myself, but I was not nearly as good as Amy. She greatly helped with wording my emails better than I could and making my emails more professional, understandable, and compassionate. She also helped the emails not sound as confrontational as my original drafts. If anyone out there is seeking to improve their writing, then Wordscaping is the right choice!
